Project Details
Modulo is a sustainable furniture e-commerce platform designed for users looking to create stylish and functional living spaces with confidence and ease. The project was developed across three responsive platforms — a native iOS app, mobile website, and desktop website — to provide a seamless shopping experience regardless of device. Modulo focuses on simplifying the furniture-buying process through curated collections, intuitive filtering systems, detailed product pages, and integrated design inspiration content. The experience was created for modern, design-conscious consumers who value sustainability, aesthetics, and usability while shopping online.
“Modulo made furniture shopping feel much less overwhelming. I liked how clean the experience felt, and the product pages gave me confidence that the furniture would actually fit my space.”

Things I Did
To create Modulo, I followed a complete UX/UI design process from research to high-fidelity prototyping. I conducted competitor analysis and user research to better understand how people shop for furniture online and identify common pain points such as product overwhelm, lack of visualization, and uncertainty during purchasing. Using those insights, I developed user personas, journey maps, user flows, and a product map to structure the experience. I then created low-fidelity wireframes and responsive prototypes for iOS, mobile web, and desktop platforms, followed by usability testing with users to gather feedback and improve the experience. Finally, I designed a cohesive UI library and component system in Figma, including typography, color styles, reusable components, and responsive layouts that aligned with Modulo’s modern and sustainable brand identity.
