Project Details
The project involved designing a multi-platform adoption experience that includes both a website and mobile layout. Each pet profile was structured to highlight essential information such as breed, age, temperament, and compatibility while maintaining a storytelling approach to build emotional connection. The interface uses card-based layouts for quick scanning and detailed profile pages for deeper engagement. Special attention was given to responsive design, ensuring consistency in usability and visual hierarchy across screen sizes, from desktop browsing to mobile adoption searches.
“Happy Tails completely changed how I view adoption websites. It felt less like browsing listings and more like meeting real personalities. I was able to quickly find pets that matched my lifestyle, and the design made the whole process feel simple, warm, and encouraging instead of overwhelming.”

Things I Did
I designed the full user experience and interface for both the website and mobile pages, focusing on user-centered design principles and emotional storytelling. I created wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and responsive layouts optimized for multiple screen sizes. I also developed the card system for quick pet browsing and structured detailed adoption profiles to improve clarity and engagement. Throughout the process, I refined typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy to ensure accessibility, usability, and a cohesive design system across both platforms.
