Project Details
Orba was conceptualized as a UX/UI design project focused on improving the travel planning experience for modern travelers. The goal was to create an intuitive platform that allows users to organize trips, manage daily itineraries, and access essential travel information from a single application.
The design process included user research, competitor analysis, persona development, user journey mapping, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and high-fidelity interface design. Special attention was given to creating a streamlined navigation system, reducing planning friction, and ensuring users could quickly access trip details while on the go.
The final design features trip dashboards, itinerary management, destination mapping, activity scheduling, and travel organization tools wrapped in a warm, nature-inspired visual identity. The interface utilizes an earthy color palette of olive greens, warm browns, soft beiges, and clean whites to evoke feelings of exploration, comfort, and adventure.
"Orba would completely change the way I plan my trips. Instead of juggling multiple apps and notes, I can organize everything in one place. The interface is simple, intuitive, and makes planning feel exciting rather than stressful. Having my itinerary, activities, and maps connected in a single experience will help me stay organized throughout my entire trip."

Things I Did
For the Orba project, I led the complete UX/UI design process from research to final prototype. I conducted user research and competitor analysis to identify pain points in travel planning, then translated those insights into user personas, journey maps, user flows, and information architecture. Using Figma and Fig Jam, I created low-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mobile interfaces while establishing a cohesive design system and visual identity. Through usability testing and iterative design improvements, I refined the user experience to ensure intuitive navigation, efficient itinerary management, and seamless trip organization. Additional tools and methods, including Adobe Illustrator, user interviews, accessibility principles, and UX best practices, were utilized throughout the project to create a polished, user-centered travel planning solution.
